Yaroslav’s Truth

Description

The painting “Yaroslav’s Truth” is a multi-figure historical composition based on the story of Yaroslav the Wise’s development of ancient Ukraine – Kyivan Rus. Its greatest development occurred in the period after the battle and the final victory over the Pechenegs near Kyiv. The composition is based on the reproduction of the cultural, architectural and historical image of the medieval city of downtown of Ancient Kyiv of the 11th century, the capital of the medieval state of Kyivan Rus. The picture consists of many historically important details, figures, and symbolic elements, images, facts, national clothes, etc. A complete description, historical facts and figure of this picture was presented in my scientific work, which was later published in the magazine “Hagenmeistersi skaniya”.
