Description
Created during my studies at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kyiv, this still life was painted from life under the guidance of renowned Ukrainian artist and educator I. Melnychuk.
The work reflects the tradition of the Kyiv school of painting, where close observation, color, and composition were deeply connected with Ukrainian culture and artistic identity. Rather than simply depicting objects, the painting explores their atmosphere, rhythm, and quiet presence through an Impressionist approach.
In 2020, the work was exhibited in Kyiv at “Color of the Soul” and “Color Rhapsody” at the Taras Shevchenko Museum. It has also received recognition at Ukrainian and international exhibitions and competitions. Today, the painting is exhibited in Kraków at Gallery 36 Auction House.
