Sodden

Description

Fans of the Witcher world (like me) know the famous kingdom Sodden. In 2019, Battle of Sodden Hill scene for the serial ” Witcher” was filmed in a medieval Polish castle Ogrodzieniec. It has a long and fascinating history, starting from the 12th century. The castle was the residence of kings and queens, which saw the rule and change of kings, real medieval battles and intrigues. Unfortunately, now we can only see the ruins, but in the 16th century the castle was a real masterpiece of the Renaissance, which was compared to Wawel. This place has a unique atmosphere and I wish you to visit this incredibly interesting place at least once in your life!
